As my official job title as a ‘Wordpress Developer’ at Gooey Creative, WordPress is at the heart of everything I do. Being at Gooey and working with WordPress every day building out a diverse range of projects allows me to offer agency standard work as a freelancer. As it is a fast paced working environment, I can build out WordPress websites quickly and efficiently.

I pride myself on building themes that are both easy to use for the end user, as well as working to the artwork provided to bring them to life as a nice and fully functioning website. Everything is bespoke, I never use a page builder or a pre built theme.

I have worked on many websites that come with an admin area that is hard to use, even as a developer. With every build, I do my best to make sure the WordPress admin area is easy to use for you or the client to add and update content.

With all builds, I take advantage of popular WordPress plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields Pro and Gravity Forms or Contact Form 7.

Advanced Custom Fields Pro allows you to not only update content easily within the admin area, but also build out new pages easily with reusable blocks. I will use Gravity Forms or Contact Form 7 for contact forms.

If you’re an agency or a freelance designer in need of a developer to help you build your WordPress wesbite, then I can help with that. Also, once every project is finished, all the code belongs to you. I try to build websites in a clean and simple manner so that if another developer is to take over the project once you have the code, they should have no issues.
